Advanced Optimus
Advanced Optimus switches the laptop’s display connection between NVIDIA’s powerful graphics chip and the processor’s efficient integrated GPU fully automatically during operation. When gaming, you benefit from the direct connection to the dGPU through higher performance and minimised input lag. Switching to the iGPU, on the other hand, enables more efficient operation and thus longer battery life. In addition to automatic switching via Advanced Optimus, the connection can be adjusted manually via a MUX switch.
